Francis Brinkman is a multidisciplinary visual artist. Using photography, film or performance (or a combination of all three), she tries to create a visible world. She is fascinated by invisible connections and energies, and uses this energy in the process to come to an optical work of art. There is spontaneity and happy accidents to be found in her work, as well as strong conceptual thinking thanks to her background in fashion-branding.
