Francis Brinkman is a multidisciplinary visual artist. She is fascinated by invisible connections and energies, and uses this energy in the process to come to an optical work of art. There is spontaneity and happy accidents to be found in her work, as well as conceptual thinking.
'As a photographer I carry a fascination for harmonious plays in daily life, which for me mainly manifests through musing over the human spirit. A romanticized documentary is how I approach my life and subjects. My work can be recognized as non-fictional stories, but with an almost set-up harmony.'

Past exhibitions: Photoseries 'Encounters Are Not Just Encounters'. On view summer 2023 at Amore Rotterdam
'The Contemporary Male',  performance film. Launched Summer 2024.
